The Latest on Lindsay Lohan
10/19/2009
This 23 year old is always in the headlines for one reason or another, this time is no different. Nothing too taboo this time, though, at least.
We all know Lindsay is your total party diva and has been known to have a good time, now is no different. It is because of all her partying, though, that her recent trip to Victoria's Secret wasn't for something racy and lacy to where for her newest boy toy of the week but for some skincare products and lip glosses.
She was in Victoria's Secret along with Alessandria Ambrosio in New York last week for the release of "Velvet," a new fragrance at VS. The two got chatty and spoke of a variety of things all while eating some buttercream cake. They spoke of Ambrosio's one year old daughter, last year's Halloween and fashion (and of course, some name-dropping).
"It was actually a really good Halloween," Lilo said of last year's Halloween. "My friend Christie and I went to dinner with Karl Lagerfeld, and the gang that he was with ... I didn't dress up, I just wore Chanel!"
In other words, for the time being, Linds seems to be staying out of too much trouble, however, as always her parents are at it once again. Michael Lohan, Lindsey's dad, is accusing her mother, Dina, of trying to push, push, push Lindsey's little sister, Ali, 15, into the same kind of lifestyle that Lindsey has carved out for herself.
He recently has been heard saying Lindsey needs to go back to rehab because of some "prescription drug abuse" and because of this, Dina has gone on the offensive saying that he "needs to focus on being a parent and [pay] child support, of which he is six months behind, and make up for all the years he was an absentee dad. And stop going on national television and talking about his children publicly."
This led him to Pop Tarts where he has lashed right back:
"Dina can attack me and say whatever she wants, but when she makes statements like, 'I need to focus on being a parent,' I think she needs to reach deep inside herself, get out of her state of denial and be a parent herself," Lohan said. "I am taking legal proactive steps, Dina. What are you doing beside lying, making excuses and putting Ali in the same position you put Lindsay in? Shall I even begin to play all the tapes of our many conversations about how Lindsay needs intervention, what a good father I and am, and how you always loved me. Be a real parent, the one you were when we were married and let's save our daughter and give her life back."
