With my wife out doing some holiday shopping, I found myself with a few free hours this weekend. Sure, I could have pulled out the old chore list, but instead I went to my review box and dug out this title for some classic gonzo fun.

A gonzo movie, for you adult movie novices out there, typically features a lot of hands-on interaction with adult movie stars, close-up camera shots and no-holds-barred action.

Dreamgirlz had this and more. It was loaded with plenty of ladies worth dreaming about, worth drooling over and worth fantasizing about, I’ll admit that. The only problem is that I didn’t actually dream about them. Instead, I had some crazy dream where dinosaurs where chasing me in this truck. And just when I thought I was safe, I got a flat tire – forcing me to stop and change it with velociraptors breathing down my neck.

But unless you’re my shrink or a budding Sigmund Freud, you don’t really care about that so I’ll just tell you about the movie.

First off, this flick has a super-strong cast and strikes a good balance between AVN winners and newcomers. The idea behind it is that each of these scenes represents a different fantasy for both guys and girls alike.

The first scene features an enchanting Maya Hills playing a hooker with lady killer Manuel Ferrara. There’s some deepthroating and all the usual suspects – but the best part is when she makes him pay extra to visit her backdoor.

Next up is Jenna Haze. I’ve had a sweet spot in my heart for Jenna ever since I watched Interactive Sex with Jenna Haze, and she does her usual awesome job her as a leather-clad dom. After bossing her boy toy around and making him beg for it, she all but breaks him while taking a bouncy ride on his cock.

Third is a scene that I enjoyed, though I felt that it didn’t really fit with the whole fantasy idea behind the movie. It’s basically a dream sequence of Katja Kassin and her first time on camera. It was somewhat cut and dry, but they salvaged it with an anal ending.

Then, we have the cheating wife and cuckolded husband. (Cuckold is such an awesome word and proves there was a point to reading Canterbury Tales.) Anyway, Courtney Cummz ditches her hubby in favor of Tommy Gunn. And you’ll understand why she did after watching their spit-soaked 69 and thigh-smacking spooning.

Next up is my favorite scene of all. Amy Ried and newcomer Bree Olson (who’s up for an AVN for best new star) trade guys at a swinger party. Bree looks like that girl that grew up down the road from you with her sweet and innocent smile – but she’s got the mouth of a drunken trucker who used to be in the Navy when it comes to sex. I thought I’ve heard it all … until Bree came along and set a new standard for dirty talk. You’ll really like the two ladies lined up side-by-side for doggy-style!

Last but not least, Carmen Luvana makes her first gonzo appearance in years and does it in style with Manuel Ferrara. I’m not sure what fantasy this is supposed to be, but after watching her lapdance, footjob and breast banging opening, I didn’t really care and you won’t either.

Dreamgirlz is a solid movie geared mostly for guys and women who have seen a few adult movies and know just what they’re getting into. The run time’s just shy of 2.5 hours. Throw in 43 minutes of bonus footage including a behind the scenes segment, photos, trailers and more, and you’ve got over three hours of wank-worthy fun.
