Ashlee Simpson-Wentz

Ashlee Nicole Wentz was born on October 3, 1984 as Ashley Nicole Simpson and is not only an American pop rock singer-songwriter, but also a dancer and actress. Simpson-Wentz, who we all know as the younger sister of pop singer Jessica Simpson, rose to stardom in mid-2004 via the hugely successful  number-one debut album Autobiography and the accompanying reality series The Ashlee Simpson Show.

In October 2005, following a North American concert tour and a film appearance, Simpson released a second number-one album, I Am Me. Simpson’s  third album, called Bittersweet World, was released in April 2008. She married musician Pete Wentz the following month and announced that they were expecting a baby. Bronx Mowgli Wentz was born on November 20, 2008.

Ashlee has recently been cast as Violet Foster, a small town girl in The CW's Melrose Place, a re-do of the '90s drama with the same name. Her first three albums have sold over 5 million copies in the United States alone.
