Surprise, surprise: It's the morning after and I feel like crap. Ugh. Matt was fun and sexy, and made me feel desirable again, but I can't hack casual sex. I like to think I can, but I either end up falling for the guy or wishing I never did it. Where's my inner Samantha Jones when I need her?

When I woke up this morning, Matt was still unconscious. It was nice to find myself with such a hottie, but it was weird, too. Two years is a long time to be with only one person—well, except for that one unfortunate time which I don’t even want to think about.

So I was lying there admiring Matt's long eyelashes and his amazing pecs, when … I can’t even believe I am writing this … I started pining away for Justin’s incredibly furry chest. I couldn't stand all that fur at first, but then I grew fond of it. That and the way his morning missile leans to the right. Maybe I’m boring, but I like that familiarity and the predictability. It’s comforting. Like chicken soup when you’re sick.

As I was laying there thinking about Justin, Matt startled me by asking, "When do you have to be at work?"

"My only job today is to get back to D.C.," I said, trying hard to look sexy while not polluting him with my morning breath. He scooted his Nike-commercial ass out of bed and into his jeans.

"I'm on the schedule to open the restaurant, so I better get going," he said. "Call me the next time you're in town, okay?" He leaned over, kissed me on the forehead and walked out the door. 

It's hard to call when I don't have his phone number.

Oh God, I'm too old for this crap. Someone put me out of my misery.
