From Deserre: I am Mexican. My boyfriend, who happens to be white, is really into role-playing, which is cool. What is not cool, however, is when he wants me to act out corny roles such as the horny little senorita (sombrero and all). I’ve tried to indulge him by playing along, but it makes me feel like a bad stereotype. I love the guy, but I don’t like how he makes me feel sometimes. Any advice?

I would want to know if I was offending my girlfriend. Women always talk about how they are so big into communicating - but then do they tell us how they feel? Not so much.

You need to tell him this does not make you feel sexy and suggest some other role-playing ideas he might like and that would make you feel good too.
