Whether you call them sleeves, strokers, pocket pussies or penis stimulation assistants, masturbators serve as a welcome break to just your palm.
These sex toys are typically hand-sized and made from soft material with lots of give like jelly, silicone or cyberskin. They have anywhere from one to two holes for penetration. The double-ended models are the easiest ones to clean and maintain. The inside of the masturbator is usually covered with some sort of stimulator, either ribs or a series of ticklers.
If you're willing to spend a $10 or $15 extra, you can buy a
masturbator that looks fairly close to a vagina with realistic coloring
and shape. Some also come equipped with a vibe.
Lube is essential to enhance the feel and keep your sex toy in good
condition. Another essential ingredient, if you go with a Cyberskin
variety, like the much-hailed Fleshlight (a masturbator disguised as an
oversized flashlight), is some cornstarch. Cyberskin can start to feel
a bit gumy after it’s been wet, but a sprinkle of cornstarch can
return it to its original silky feel.
