The most noteworthy thing about Kayden’s Krossfire isn’t the adulterous sheriff, the twisting and turning plot, or even the adorable pet mini horse. Rather, it’s the first appearance of Kayden Kross, a relative newcomer to the adult industry and Adam & Eve’s newest contract star.

Kayden has the typical porn star look – a busty blonde more than willing to show off for the camera. Where she really stands apart is her natural passion. When Kayden starts getting frisky, it’s like she forgets the camera’s rolling. She responds so naturally and passionately that the viewer feels like he or she is peeping through a neighbor’s window instead of watching an adult movie.

The fun starts on a leather couch with police detective Kayden and Tommy Gunn, who happens to be her boss the sheriff. After a highly awkward conversation about her pet mini-horse watching them, Kayden goes to work, letting her tonsils work Tommy’s rod before showing off her rodeo roots with a bouncy cowgirl ride.

Meanwhile, James Deen (who in a not-so-shocking twist just happens to be Kayden’s cousin) and Flower Tucci knock over the local bank – grabbing a sack of cash and leaving a dead cop in their tracks. James Deen takes the dough to their hideout…and a liaison with the always lovely Lorena Sanchez, who happens to be the sheriff’s wife. It was a pure joy in my cynical heart watching Lorena manipulate and control James before throwing him on the bed and having her wicked way with him.

After finding out that her lover’s two-timing her, Flower takes the money and runs… to the arms of Evan Stone in a nearby bar. In a highly entertaining scene, these two Type A personalities vie and joust for control – neither one giving an inch to the other. It makes for some particularly intense sex and adds some serious energy in the somewhat dull middle of the movie.

In a move expected from anyone who’s ever seen 10 minutes of a police show, Sheriff Tommy throws Kayden off the case once it’s clear her cousin’s involved. Of course, Kayden can’t leave the situation alone, so she meets up with her cousin only to uncover what looks like the top of a huge conspiracy.

Meanwhile, Lorena drops by to visit her husband in a dress tight enough to be painted on. Naturally, Tommy abandons the investigation into his friend’s death in favor of a chance to tongue-bang his wife’s tight little box. And Lorena does an awesome job riding his cock – the cowgirl hat she’s wearing at the time is a great touch.

Finally, Kayden makes another appearance when she confronts Flower and promises to take care of her… in more ways than one. After Kayden undresses the older woman, she puts her fingers and tongue to good use.

As for the “shocking, surprise ending,” it comes up a little short and leaves one with an unpleasant taste on their tongue. You’d be far better off just to end the movie after Kayden and Flower finish their horizontal tango.

At a hair under two hours, Kayden’s Krossfire has average run time and the typical bonus material. Krossfire is a solid choice for couples, but it’s only really noteworthy attribute is Kayden’s first starring feature. And for that alone, it’s worth the price of admission.
